Tinakilly Housing Development

MOLA Architecture designed a development on c. 25 hectares at Tinakilly, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow (adjacent to Tinakilly Country House Hotel, a Protected Structure). The development consists of a 1 – 3 storey residential scheme comprising 289 no. house units, 56 no. duplex units, 16 no. apartments, 8 no. studio apartment units and Community facilities.

The project also incorporates the first phase of the new Rathnew Inner Relief Road. The proposed mix of house types are distributed having regard to the site specific characteristics and environmental constraints within each relevant zoning.

It is also critical to protect key views and vistas from and of Tinakilly House, the preservation of mature trees and hedgerows and the unique topography of the subject lands. The core character of the main entrance to Tinakilly House will be maintained with separate (parallel) circulation routes for the adjacent residential areas.
