OVERVIEW

Tertium

The interior of the new Tertium A office building in Poland’s cultural epicentre- Krakow is all about nature. The brief for the 14,000 sqm office space was to design an efficient and stimulating workspace with employees’ wellbeing and productivity in mind while at the same time reflecting our client’s ethos and environmental responsibility.

The project achieved LEEDv4 Interior Design + Construction (Gold level) certification, which is the first Interior fit-out in Poland to achieve such a high accreditation. Spanning across 11No. floors above ground and 2 levels of underground parking Tertium A has been holistically designed by a multinational team lead by MOLA Architecture and delivered in 2 phases by a local contractor.

As a response to the client brief, and the negative impact of the notorious air pollution in the city, MOLA came up with a design to bring a natural environment into the workplace. The ‘Back to Nature’ theme influenced the design decisions from the very early stages of the project. It influenced room placement and lighting design as well as the choice of materials, signage design and bespoke graphics.
