Newmarket Mixed Use Development

MÓLA Architecture in conjunction with Reddy Architecture and Urbanism were commissioned in 2015 as part of a multi-disciplinary team to masterplan and redevelop this brownfield site in the Liberties area of Dublin.

The site, owned by Newmarket Partnership surrounds a large public space, i.e. Newmarket Square. This site is situated close to the city centre and falls within the Liberties Local Area Plan (LAP).

The masterplan is split over three sites with Newmarket Square the centrepiece of this large scale rejuvenation. A Planning Application was submitted in 2017.

The Mixed use scheme currently proposed, comprises of approx:

  • 16,000m2 Office space,
  • 2,000m2 Retail space,
  • 7,000m2 Residential Space and
  • 10,000m2 Hotel space.
