Focus Ireland

In January 2019 MOLA were approached by KMCS to provide Architectural Services to Focus Ireland for their headquarter offices on High Street. This was very much aligned with our own corporate and social responsibility policy, and we were delighted to support this essential and important service for the most vulnerable in society. KMCS assembled a like-minded design team and main contractor to provide a full service to the client.

This project is a testament to T&I, the design team and all the suppliers and sub-contractors who generously donated their time, material, and skills to the successful delivery of this wonderful project. Our initial brief was to review Focus Ireland’s existing office accommodation at their headquarters on Hill Street and see how the facilities could be upgraded and improved to meet their requirements and provide an appropriate workplace strategy.

As a team we collectively used our contacts within the industry to support the project through supply and services donations, providing a high quality fit out with minimal cost. The high-end result belies the fact that much of the fit out used recycled and repurposed equipment and in doing so saved tonnes of Embodied Carbon (a 35% saving on a typical fit out).

Focus Ireland HQ Office Fit-out received the “Excellence in Sustainability 2021 Award” at the Fit-Out Awards for 35% saving on Embodied Carbon.
