Not only did we win best Health Care Project and Construction Project of the year at the 2016 Irish Construction Awards but we also won Best Residential Project of the Year with the Etherphit Passive House, Rathgar, Co Dublin. The house completed in 2015 comprises an extensive upgrade of an existing 1960’s house into a fully certified Etherphit Passive House. The house is now incredibly air tight, a remarkable 0.79m3 at 50 pascals, which means that only a minimal amount of energy is required to heat and cool it. That energy comes from heat pumps and solar panels so no running cost there! Check out the beautiful polished concrete floor which runs through out the ground floor.
