MOLA was delighted to take part in the Sustainable Residential Development and Compact Settlement Guidelines Webinar organised by the Irish Planning Institute on the 23.02.2024, along with Karen Kenny (Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage), Rory Kunz (JSA Planning) and Eoghan Ryan (Kildare County Council).
MOLA Associate Stephanie Fy presented case studies, initial site design approaches, challenges, and opportunities brough by the new guidelines in terms of urban design and new housing typologies.
