MOLA are delighted to announce that our project, Merrion Road Residential Development, has been shortlisted for the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Public Choice Award 2023.
The Merrion Road Development replaces the Tara Towers Hotel and features an 8-storey hotel pavilion facing Dublin Bay, while the residential block meanders around it, stepping from six to four storeys. A terrace of five townhouses with a smaller apartment building and landscaped gardens complete the development on the former carpark site. The development provides a high-quality architectural design that is responsive to its context, while positively contributing to the city’s urban fabric.
