This week saw the formal opening of the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) parks by Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD. The 3 parks, Tully Park, Beckett Park and Ticknick Park, collectively comprise more than 33Ha of amenity open space for the SDZ development and represent both the scale and diversity of Cherrywood which when fully built out will provide 8,800 homes for a population of around 26,000.
MOLA completed the 3 pavilion buildings associated with each of these parks and have collaborated in the delivery of both the green and physical infrastructure across the SDZ. The most recent completion, Tully Park, the Flagship Park and centre of the ‘Cherrywood Way’ green infrastructure network of the Cherrywood SDZ marking a significant milestone in the development.
